UK-based pianist Mark Knoop returns to Melbourne with a programme drawn from imagery. Debussy’s impressionist Préludes and Feldman’s final solo piano work take real or imagined situations as their starting point. In Rósa Lind's Trente, Wassily Kandinsky’s 1937 monochrome grid canvas is exploded into a wealth of allusions and mythologies surrounding the astronomical constellations.
